Goodbye Dr. Jihad!

When I began having a web presence I chose the "Dr. Jihad!" name out of a sense of fun and rock 'n roll attention grabbing. The same for the imaginary musical group the Intellectual Muslim Guerrillas. There was never any group, it was a one-man band. "Jihad" means "struggle of good against evil" and that is always reflected in my writing, my graphics, and my music. However, in light of the attack upon my country, this online persona no longer appears in good taste (uh, if it ever was) and out of sensitivity to the feelings of the victims of this tragedy and their families I am going to retire the persona.

Sadly, rumors of sightings of Dr. Jihad! & the Intellectual Muslim Guerrillas were false. It has been confirmed they were beaten to death by a bloodthirsty mob of Jewish, Christian, and Muslim bigots, cheered on by BJP Hindus and Aryan White Supremacists watching from the sidelines. The bodies have not been recovered and are believed to have been mutilated by the mob chanting various religious and nationalist slogans and dogmas-- all of which were variations on proto-Nazi "We Are The Master Race" types of themes. It is believed executives from Enron, Merrill Lynch, Arthur Anderson, Tyco, and a bunch of Catholic priests provided funding. Martha Stewart is under suspicion, but her involvement has not yet been confirmed. So now, there is only Jeremiah. Goodbye Dr. Jihad!
